This was a cute and super sexy read about two fire elementals that are hiding their abilities from one another. Phoebe can manipulate fire, but when she gets angry it kind of manipulates her. Having exposed herself to quite a few "accidents" involving fire, it only makes sense that she is dating a fireman. Brant is a phoenix who is constantly kept on his toes (or in ashes) by his girlfriend. Aside from her "accident" prone nature, she's the perfect woman for him. Who else would be able to survive her?

These two are both thinking about moving forward in their relationship, but with these secrets there is no future for them. On the verge of telling the truth, we get the fun of knowing that all these issues are soon to dissolve. This was a fun way to watch two paranormals hook up and begin a future together.
