Review: Make a Wish

Make a Wish Make a Wish by Amelia Rose
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book threw together all the dark/light fae mythology I know, combined a dash of darker smut, and mixed it all together in a quick read. Lily is a research assistant on assignment in Ireland. What is a career dream come true is actually a symptom of her hiding from the memories of her horrible, cheating ex-boyfriend and the loss of her parents. One wish on a mound ends up throwing her into a world she always hoped existed. Not only does she get to meet the fae, but she also might be a legendary descendant of both courts (light and dark).

Along with her newly discovered family history, she also gains two suitors - one from the light court who wants to woo her with his gentleness and one from the dark court who wants to dominate and punish her. While the read was quick, this book really worked at setting up a world for future installments and temptation.
