Review: Fiery Ember

Fiery Ember Fiery Ember by Celia Kyle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book was a smutty story with a Cinderella vibe. Ember is the stepdaughter of the owner of an advertising agency. Since her father passed away she has been stuck in the role as secretary until the day that her stepsisters and stepmother fail to show up for an important presentation. Under the pretense of saving the account, Ember steps in to delivery the presentation. Sure, she doesn't specifically lie to the client about who she is, but she doesn't fess up either.

Paul is immediately smitten with Em, but waits until signing the contract to pursue her. What starts as an innocent dinner turns into a night that changes his life. One night with her would never be enough, but she seems to vanish afterwards. Luckily, fate has other ideas. There's romance, deception, hot stuff, and a HEA all rolled into this quick read.
