This book was a good mix of sexy werewolves, super tough sheriff chicks, and plot twists.
Ava is the sheriff of Crossroads, which is literally a crossroads between the werewolf and vampire territory. Managing the two makes for tough work, which was made even tougher by a one-night-stand with the werewolf alpha (Julian). What she’s been trying so hard to avoid comes back to bite her (literally) when bodies start piling up on the nights leading up to the blood moon. Most of the town knows something big and bad is coming, but Ava won’t give up. Lucky for her, neither will Julian.
