Review: The Delphi Revelation: Book III of the Delphi Trilogy

The Delphi Revelation: Book III of the Delphi Trilogy
The Delphi Revelation: Book III of the Delphi Trilogy by Chris Everheart

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow - this was one action-packed finale to this addictive trilogy! If you read the previous books, then you know there are oodles of secrets and mysteries still lurking, and all of those are revealed in this last book of the series.

Zach/Joshua was captured at the end of the last book and you can imagine what the league has been subjecting him to in the time between books. He believes Ashley is long gone, Katie has betrayed him, and there's no help coming. As with just about everything else in this series - things are not as they seem. There are even more allies than he knows lurking around in this sleepy town. Just when you think you know everyone's motivations and which side they're on, things keep changing.

Of course, Zach/Joshua escapes, finding all his allies, but finding even more problems coming his way. For a single boy, he sure has attracted a lot of trouble. His Dad isn't the man he thought he was, Katie isn't such a horrible person anymore, and Ashley is back by his side. The pacing and writing style made reading this book like watching an action flick. I couldn't put the book down! I'm sad that this is the end of this series, but very happy with the way it ended. All my questions have been answered (and even questions I didn't know I should have were answered!) and we even get a nice HEA. Sure, it's not perfect and pretty, but it's the ending that this town and story deserve.
