Review: Payback for a Post-Mortem

Payback for a Post-Mortem Payback for a Post-Mortem by Eileen Rendahl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Poor Dawn! She is a workaholic who couldn't resist the mystery of a decapitated wolf dropped at her office. What started as just a curiosity quickly heads into crazyland when someone actually breaks into her university lab to *steal* the dead wolf! If that didn't mess with her life enough, it looks like nobody will let her move on with her life. There's a strange guy stalking her, and the mystery people (with awesome banter, by the way) end up saving/kidnapping her. This all drags her even further into the world of a messenger and some werewolves.

Out of everything, the characters and their witty banter were the highlights of this story. You've done it - you've convinced me that checking out the series is totally worth it. Consider yourself added to my to-read list!
