Review: Compelled

Compelled Compelled by S.A. Archer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

London is a bit of a bad guy, caught up in the drama that is seelie/unseelie sidhe. After being attacked by a sidhe, she becomes one of the "touched" who are rapidly addicted to the power that is obtained when a sidhe shares his/her "touch." If she doesn't find someone to take her on soon, she'll suffer like a drug addict and eventually lose her mind.

The first lead she has on a sidhe patron comes from her special ops friend. He wants her to look into some druid priest who claims to have a connection to sidhe. While planning this trip, she also gets a call from the local vampire mistress. Upon arriving at her den, she discovers an ancient sidhe that seems to be her most likely patron... as long as he doesn't find out about her past. As this seems unlikely, she follows through on the job, which is anything but easy. There's wizards and sidhe and lots of introduction to this well written and interesting world. Sadly, I don't think I have any way to get the additional books in this series to learn more.
