Review: Paranormal Romance: Kiss Of A Vampire

Paranormal Romance: Kiss Of A Vampire Paranormal Romance: Kiss Of A Vampire by Martha Woods
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a short, sexy, and paranormal-rific read. I’m not 100% sure that this is a standalone book, but it was perfectly enjoyed by this reader.

Tessa is a bit of a nomad. She’s been on her own since she was a teenager, after she began to lie about not hearing all the voices in her head. Said voices were actually other people’s thoughts, which turned out to be a nice money-making scheme for a fake psychic. With enough of an open mind (on both parts) she could sell people the idea that she could see the future in her crystal ball. Well, she could sell everyone except an overeager vampire that turns up at her table.

Kristian is a buttoned-up vampire who doesn’t seem too keen on Tessa knowing his deepest and darkest secrets. There is, however, some undeniable chemistry that leads him to kinda-sorta kidnapping her and taking her on the run. The bad guys? That’s the evil witches that are hunting Kristian and his vampire sister. There’s action, adventure, and romance (and lots and lots of other little characters) that is all jammed into this short book. If this is what the author can do with a short story, I’m totally interested in a full length novel.
