Review: Frozen Heart of Fire

Frozen Heart of Fire Frozen Heart of Fire by Julie Kavanagh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Josh is some sort of magic user who has been assaulted by strong headaches to such an extent that he must leave his club in the hands of his brother, Noah. All is going well (except for the headaches) until a woman with ice cold blood ends up in the club. Looking for a second opinion, Noah reaches out to his brother and triggers an even bigger event.

Eva is just trying to do good and stop a killer who happened to stumble into Josh's club. With knowledge of the owner and his people's history trying to wipe her race out, she knows to be careful. This doesn't stop her from getting abducted by the brothers and held against her will. Somehow they all end up on the same side against a bigger enemy, though. This story has a few romantic twists and an interesting world that would be worth another book's deeper dive.
