Review: Bleed For Me

Bleed For Me Bleed For Me by Cynthia Eden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was everything I have come to expect from this author: Fun, quick, quirky paranormal romance. Who doesn’t love a god being humbled by a quick and sudden love story?

Apollo is pretty much used to getting what he wants all the time. While slumming it with the humans that frequent his brother’s bar, he’s struck by a mysterious stranger. She’s hot and seems completely uninterested in him, which just fuels his competitive nature. Terese is determined to accomplish her first feed as a vampire. Turned against her will, she wants nothing to do with the monster she’s become, but the hunger has finally gotten to a point where she can no longer ignore it. She finally ends up accepting Apollo as her blood donor for the evening, but it ends in a rather unexpected way. Who knew that gods were excellent vampire victims?

Apollo isn’t dissuaded at all when Terese reveals that she’s a vampire. After a good game of cat and mouse (or god and vampire), these two make an awesome pair. They balance each other out in new and unexpected ways which gives us a really satisfying quick read.
