The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I had previously read this book (3 years ago), but since I didn't remember it at all and it came up for free in exchange for an honest review, I read it again.
This book was a really fun read. I blew through it in an evening and had trouble putting it down. Lizzie is a great reluctant hero in the story. She may not believe it, but she's an awesome tough chick main character. I loved reading through her and Dimitri's back and forth romance. I know that there area bunch more books in the series out there, so I'm sure that there will be sufficient follow up to the numerous loose ends in this book.
The motorcycle grannies were a good comic relief to the constant danger/stress/deadlines that poor Lizzie had to endure. I also, rather reluctantly, loved the dog. Parrot was a great little pseudo-sidekick to Lizzie and I hope he comes with them on their next adventures.
Looking forward to starting the next book!
