I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The cover of this book made me think it would be a little sillier than it was -- but this book was great! It was laugh out loud funny with really witty characters and a good plot. The writing style made the chapters fly by without any lag. I blew through this book in an evening without even trying.
I'm a sucker for a cute paranormal romance and this book delivered everything except the smut. I'm still optimistic that if there is a Book 2 in this series I'll get that too... Lack o smut aside, I loved the characters! I've read a few ghost related paranormal romances, and this one is by far the best. Marmi is such a wonderful companion to Sophie that it made me smile every time they interacted.
I'm new to this author, but if this book is any indication, I'll be picking up others.
