Autumn by Sierra Dean
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sierra Dean's books are always a fun, light read with a twist and this book was no exception. What starts out as a typical YA romance turns into a paranormal mystery by the end (complete with cliffhanger!). I read this one quickly in a lazy afternoon without really even trying. There was your typical high school scene, complete with detention and football. What really drew me in to this one was the character development. It probably helped that we get to see both Lou and Cooper's worlds. I liked the flip-flopping between them so we got glimpses of their lives on their own as well as together.
There are so many things left unanswered that I'm eager to start the next installment of this series! Sadly, I have to wait until 2013 to get my hands on it. Sigh. The downsides of a cliffhanger ending.
