I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a novella, so I'll gloss over the length of the book and cut right to the good stuff -- this novella was better than some of the full length books I've read. We meet Frankie and Jake and are immediately thrown into their world of damaged human and lonely vampire. This book really had me at the words vampire and romance, but if you're looking for more than that, it's there too.
There aren't any more books in this series yet, but this one was a great starting point. The plot sucked me in right away and the smut kept me eagerly turning pages.
This book was a great, quick, read that had most of the things I like: vampires, smut, and romance. Check it out if you have a free hour or two.
