Review: Heavy Metal Heart

Heavy Metal Heart
Heavy Metal Heart by Nico Rosso

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was filled with steamy rock star hotness with a rather unique paranormal twist. Trevor is a yummy rock star who also just happens to feed off the crowd’s energy – literally. As a type of satyr, he is bound to be eternally looking for his Muse, whom he has long thought to be just a legend. His muse will be the only person who can ultimately sustain him. Misty is a woman in a thankless job that has fallen in love with Trevor’s music. After chasing him to an impromptu gig, Misty discovers that their magnetism is more than just groupie lust.

There is a lot of sex thrown in to the Muse/satyr connection, which I much enjoyed. The writing style was something that I haven’t really encountered before. It was almost like reading a book filled with poetry, that just so happened to also be a paranormal romance. It was a pretty quick book, so I can recommend this book for a steamy night read.
