Review: Red Moon
Red Moon by M.A. Grant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was a really excellent read! I've been kind of stuck in this endless loop of shifter reads, but this one really stood out. Something about the deep character development, flipping POVs, and awesome smut really had me loving this book.
The story revolves around Evie and Flynn, who are thrown together thanks to their own dysfunctional previous relationships. Also helping push them together is Flynn's really patriarchal family of shifters. His brother, Connor, was a great broken sort of character that we will hopefully see more of in a book 2 (please?). The boy meets girl is a little twisted up in this book, giving Evie a great deal of power of the seemingly most powerful shifter/man/general hottie. It was great to watch them learn how to interact like normal folks, and the chemistry was sizzling. There was also a good deal of action to keep the pages turning.
Like I said before, even after a nice HEA ending, I want to see more of Connor! I really hope to see more from this author in the future.
