I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a sweet romance read that just happened to revolve around S&M. I'm not really that S&M knowledgeable, but this book really had most of the makings of a great book for me. There was romance, paranormal, and a good amount of smut.
William and Cerise make a wonderful, if at times dysfunctional, couple throughout the book. I really enjoyed the interesting twist on the vampire myths as well as the unusual way the author approached a paranormal romance. This was the first S&M, vampire, roleplay book I've stumbled upon, and it was a great combo.
This book was self contained, which is another plus sometimes. The story and all the characters go through struggles, grow, give us lots of smut, and then we are left with hearts and rainbows at the end. Always a plus to have a happy ending with such conflict driven books.
