Review: Crave The Night

Crave The Night
Crave The Night by Lara Adrian

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, I was hoping that we’d get to see the tough exterior of Nathan crack and this book delivered exactly what I needed! Watching Nathan and Jordana crash against one another was absolutely wonderful to watch (and sizzled right off the page!). I’m pretty sure you could even read this as a standalone if you really wanted, but the payoff is really worth going through the whole lengthy series.

Nathan was raised a Hunter, with all the nastiness that comes along with it. He’s rigid, controlled, and unshakable. In comes Jordana, who has also lived a pretty regimented life. She was adopted at a young age and taught to always give her father what he expects. He wants her to get married by 25, and she is well on her way to a loveless marriage with a respectable man. When she surprised herself (and Nathan) by kissing him out of nowhere, she set them both on a collision course neither can stop.

Nathan can’t get Jordana out of his head, and that is a huge deal to the controlled Hunter. He finds himself being changed by the enigmatic woman and also feels completely protective of her. She is his woman from the moment she kissed him and no one can change that. It was great to watch him try to fight it, though. He and Jordana balance each other out wonderfully and the sexual chemistry is off the charts. It was HOT HOT HOT! If each of these books give me such a different look at the characters and Breed I thought I knew, I’ll keep reading until the bitter end. This book really convinced me that the series has so many more places to go!
