Review: Accidentally...Over?

Accidentally...Over?
Accidentally...Over? by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Noooooooo! Don't let this hilariously zany ride be over yet! This last installment of the Accidentally Yours series delivered exactly what I've come to expect from the wacky world of Cimil and gang. There were unicorns, vampires, clowns, hungry hungry hippos, and so very much more. Thank you, for a wonderfully unexpected journey.

This book was primarily about Maax and Ashli. Maax is that invisible god that you've seen (ha) before, previously known as the God of Truth. Ashli is, well, the most death prone girl ever. Kind of like that Supernatural episode where Dean keeps dying over and over in weird and unique ways. That pretty much sums up Ashli's future, if Maax can't save her. Of course, Cimil is at play here, working her crazy ninja magic on one of the last single Gods in the bunch. She essentially gives Maax an offer he can't refuse -- save Ashli or the world will end.

Obviously, Maax takes the bait with typical God pompousness. This, not unexpectedly, ends badly a few times. Yay for time travel! Ashli and Maax make a pretty good reluctant couple, even though they fall into the dreaded misunderstandings cycle for a little bit. No worries, though, because this is the last book -- happy endings for everyone! There was a *ton* of wrap up done in this book that left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. We get to see anyone who was ever in any of the books and get an update. There is a ton of closure, but (thank god) there is the hint at more. Give me more books and I will read them!
