Review: Bring Me a Dream

Bring Me a Dream
Bring Me a Dream by Erin Kellison

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

These books keep giving us more and more information with each installment. This one focused on the unlikely coupling of Mirren and Vincent. I wasn't sure I could get behind these two "bad guys" getting together, but I was totally sold by the end.

Mirren is the half nightmare daughter of the creator of the Reveler phenomenon. These books really require you to start from the beginning at this point. The group of people trying to take her father down is now also babysitting Mirren's only child. This frees her up to expose her father for the evil man he really is. Mirren's father also killed Vincent's father, which gives him the perfect motivation to team up with her. I'm not quite sure what Vincent is, but either way, they kind of make the perfect pair.

Mirren's insight into the dreaming world really helps us learn a lot more backstory. This includes the elusive "Sandman" legends that have been popping up here and there along the way. The romance in this one was a little bit different between these reluctant allies, but still present enough to make this fit in the series. I really liked the cameos from the other couples and can't wait to see where this series ends up next!
