I’m going to apologize right now and let you know that it is rare to get a negative review from me. I just don’t feel that it would be fair to readers to dive into this book without an honest review.

This was a very short read that had the very minimum to keep the story going. Uptight girl gets bitten by vampire. Rich vampire shows girl affection. Girl goes off the rails when she realizes her new powers. Rich vampire gets sad. That’s pretty much the story in a nutshell. There’s some nefarious corporation that may or may not be orchestrating things from the sidelines, but it was only sort of hinted at (or maybe I filled in the blanks). I’m sort of a vampire romance junkie, but this book just didn’t deliver. Perhaps after a few rounds of edits and some more character and plot development, this could become a fully developed and interesting book.
