Review: A Vampire's Christmas Carol
A Vampire's Christmas Carol by Cynthia Eden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a short and well written standalone novella that is a twist on your typical christmas carol tale.
Ben is a vampire who has lost his way. After being transformed into a vampire, he soon loses the love of his life, Simeone, which sends him into a 10 year long spiral into darkness. On Christmas eve, he is approached by a demon he saved years previous and taken on a trip through his past, present, and future.
While a little dark at times (and certainly sad), this was ultimately an uplifting tale of how a vampire can turn his life around with the proper motivation. There was some steamy scenes to chop of the seriousness, along with the wonderful writing style that I associate with this author. This was a solid read and one that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
