Wow -- I'm happy that I took a chance on this book because it introduced me to the wonderful writing of Savannah Stuart! I haven't read any of the other Crescent Moon books, but I didn't have trouble diving into this short read. It was a sexy shifter read that had some really great romance and story jammed into very few pages. I'm eager to read more!

Ella is running away from the drama her sister caused with her previous pack. While getting drunk at a shifter bar, she decides to throw caution to the wind and go home with Asher, a yummy wolf shifter who show some sexy protective and dominating traits when someone tries to paw at her. After a night of hotness, Ella continues her run down to her new job and new pack. Little does she know, Asher is headed to the same place and they find themselves at yet another bar together. What starts out as a casual fling ends up being a really sweet love story. Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of sizzle in the pages, but the way these two slightly broken characters end up together was heartwarming.

I'm really eager to read the other books in this series to see how all the characters in this book ended up where they are. This author's writing style was really great, and you can't go wrong with some hot shifters.
