Review: Spring Moon
Spring Moon by Hrh Princess Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a fun and quick read by an author that is brand new to me. The writing style made for a very easy to read book with an interesting plot. I was also completely in love with the main character, Indiana. Yes, his name is silly, but he is one of the most adorable YA boys I've read about in a while.
Indiana Teller is the mostly human (not werewolf) grandson of the leader of the werewolves. Growing up in the pack without being a shifter obviously made him a little bit more resourceful than your average "prince." His intelligence and resilience really made him compelling form the first chapter. After getting granted the freedom to go to college on his own, he meets Kat. While we don't get to see inside Kat's head, she takes up the majority of Indiana's thoughts. Their cute and rather star-crossed YA romance had me sighing like a teenager. There were some political werewolf games going on in the background, but for me, the romance was the main focus. That and getting to know the awesome character of Indiana.
While we get some resolution at the end of the book, it's clear there should be more coming. I can't wait to see what's next for Indiana!
