Review: Temporary Duty: A Career Soldier Military Romance

Temporary Duty: A Career Soldier Military Romance Temporary Duty: A Career Soldier Military Romance by Tawdra Kandle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

These books find new and interesting ways to tell some wonderful love stories!

In this one we meet Kade, the reluctant soldier who is putting in his time to make a path towards retirement. He’s pretty relaxed about most things, including having a good time, which is probably what puts him in Leah’s bed for a one-night-stand. Leah wasn’t looking for anything permanent either, so she was just as happy to have a diversion from her stressful law school studying. All of that changes when Leah passes (or fails?) another type of test.

Kade continues his career without even knowing that things have forever changed. A chance meeting at the local bookstore ends up shifting Kade’s world for the better. He now has a second chance at the girl that he can’t get out of his head and he has a quickly growing family! These two had such a sweet and unconventional love story that I couldn’t wait to see how it ended. This was a wonderfully written and addictive read from start to finish.
