Ghosts by Kelley Armstrong

This story takes place after Jeremy has sent Clay and Elena away in Bitten. While walking through his rather empty house, Jeremy takes a moment to relive his decisions and life choices that put him here. It was interesting to watch the rather decisive and strong leader spend a little bit of time questioning himself. Jeremy continues to be one of the most interesting characters in the series (for me).
