This book was a cute love story between a scientist and a vampire. As a scientist, I wholeheartedly endorse scientist paranormal romance twists!
Liz is a scientist/grad student running a blood lab. Her boss just happens to be Robb, a vampire trying to figure out the key to the healing power of his blood. Obviously, this vampire has some emotional baggage (what vampire doesn't?), but they would both be crazy to fight the insane amount of attraction between them.
Yes, there's misunderstandings and your typical martyr syndrome, but the love story was still pretty adorable. There's some solid story and characters in this book that beg for more -- is there more? I'm a sucker for a good HEA and this book delivers.
