Review: Hell's Chapel

Hell's Chapel Hell's Chapel by Lauren Creed
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I pretty much read this book based on the author with zero knowledge of the story or subject matter and was completely addicted from page 1! Who knew that I could love Satan's niece as much as I do? She's quirky, tough, and filled with a surprising amount of love for her inner circle. Watching her go through the trials that she did in this book only made me love her more.

Caith is the star of this book and she plays the tough as nails bar owner perfectly. She's taken ownership and responsibilities for the "tweens" in Orlando and she rules her territory perfectly. All of this changes when some green eyed zombies greet her after a hard day's work. If that isn't bad enough, she's also got an endlessly confusing (fallen?) angel who seems just as attracted to her as she is to him. Her wolf might be convinced that this is her mate, but the rest of her very varied heritage is a little more hesitant to throw in with an angel.

There's brawling and bawling, love and hate, and we even get some sexy surprises. This is definitely the start of something awesome and I can't wait to see where we go next. Will Caith change because of all the hell she's been through in this book? Will her heritage lead her to more mates to satisfy her other sides? I am dying to know!
