Review: Grimnirs

Grimnirs
Grimnirs by Ednah Walters

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book series number (2.5) corresponds to a novella, but it is full length and is a really fabulous read!

When we last saw Cora, she was not herself (ha), and since her release from the psych ward, she's only collected more issues. She's convinced her friends hate her, that everyone at school will realize that she's been away being crazy, and that she is really crazy (because she can now see souls). Oh, and she's also got the stalker to end all stalkers in the form of a hottie named Echo. If you thought Torin was a really great heartthrob, Echo is like Torin 2.0. He's arrogant and stubborn, but with a really soft side.

The book starts with Eirik in his new home, checking out Cora, so (without reading the synopsis) I was worried that this would be a simple hookup between Cora and him. Not so! We get some steamy and sizzling Cora/Echo romance that had my heart melting at this pairing. Even better than Torin and Raine (if I'm allowed to say that). There are a lot of twists and turns, but this book had my full attention from page 1. Oh, and poor Eirik! I hope he gets his due in the next book, because he really summed up how awfully he's been tossed aside in this series so far. Can't wait for more from this really fun series!
