Review: Hitting the Silk: A Career Soldier Military Romance

Hitting the Silk: A Career Soldier Military Romance Hitting the Silk: A Career Soldier Military Romance by Tawdra Kandle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Each of these stories is beautiful and unique. This book takes us into the life of a “danger ranger” as he gets confronted with the choice between his planned bachelor lifestyle and a woman who could rock his world.

Shaw is an army captain who loves the danger lifestyle he’s been offered. Jumping out of helicopters? That’s a goal of his. Because of this, he knows that his army career pretty much rules out a serious relationship. When he takes a trip to eat lunch as a surrogate father for his buddy’s kid, meeting Delia Rollins changes everything. The spark is there instantly, no matter how much she wants to deny it.

Delia knows that Shaw breaks all her rules. She’s been determined to avoid the dangerous ones ever since her first husband was killed in action. Somehow, though, Shaw wiggles his way into becoming her trainer. What starts as a friendship quickly becomes so much more. As long as they can both adjust to this budding relationship, they are so very well suited. These HEAs are the best!
