Review: Bitten by Treachery

Bitten by Treachery

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was not familiar with the series, but this short read was still really enjoyable. To help further enslave the werewolf population for their needs, a group of witches infects one of their members, Charly, with the werewolf virus. She is forced to choose between saving her mother and helping to further enslave the already stricken pack of werewolves in Hadley. Trenton was a lone wolf until he moved to Hadley. Now the resident cop on the scene, he (along with the rest of the town) has a certain prejudice against witches. Little does he know, the hot new werewolf in their town that’s caught his eye is also a witch.

I always have a little bit of an issue rating short stories. This was a very quick read that really left me wanting more, but that’s good for a short book, right? There was a good combination of seduction and action that kept me tearing through the pages right until the very end. I’d love to see what the author could do with a full length novel in this series.
