Review: Crouching Tigress, Horny Dragon

Crouching Tigress, Horny Dragon Crouching Tigress, Horny Dragon by Lexxie Couper
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I haven’t read any of the other Fire Mate books, but it seemed pretty easy to slip in at book 3 without any problem. This story revolves around Ryan, an Australian dragon in the US to escape some drama back home.

Ryan starts his evening in his usual fashion. He goes to a bar, tortures himself with some beautiful human women he can’t possibly be with (on account of his lighting on fire during sex), but is deterred from his typical routine by a sexy stranger. Deanna is on a mission and it isn’t to get into Ryan’s pants. Sure, that happens, but she isn’t quite sure why. She’s been raised as a human, not a dragon, but their mating fire seems to say different.

These two dance around each other, but when they connect it is sizzling (literally). Sure, they have a lot of family issues to work out, but who doesn’t have drama? This book read really quickly and didn’t require a lot of mystery solving. I’d recommend this book if you’re looking for something hot to distract for a few hours.
