Gabriella by Celia Kyle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Gabriella is the next in line for this fated mates nonsense and she is super jaded about it. She has to go through the equivalent of speed dating to have the alpha pairs sniff her. So humiliating. It seems like it is a giant waste of time until she gets a tingling feeling in more than one place. Unfortunately, she gets the most dysfunctional pair out there. Jack and Berke began becoming an alpha pair when they were younger, but when a set of mates ended in murder, they didn't complete the bond. Now they're trapped in a situation where they must make a choice: live in fear of the past or move forward with Gabby.
Gabby, of course, assumes she is the problem. This spirals into a fight (as is the custom, I guess, in these gatherings). She's got to fight for guys that she's not even sure want her. We get a good HEA out of it (complete with naughty sexiness), so it is all worth it in the end.
