I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is definitely my favorite of all the Cyn/Raphael novellas in this series. It had some really relevant plot development, some truly surprising twists and turns, and (of course) a healthy dose of sex. While the rest of the novellas might not be 100% required reading for the series, this one should be.

Cyn and Raphael are still on their way to completing Raphael's vision of a united North America. Because of this, enemies are starting to circle. In this story we get to see what Cyn's friend Luci has been up to (yay!) and get to watch Raphael's security team blow away a competitor. Oh, and we get a lot of resolution in the form of some much needed death. This short story sets up really nicely for the books to come.
